I always aspire of having my own business someday. A café or bar/restaurant will do. I know it takes a lot of time for me to pursue my dreams. It also takes patience and perseverance to make these dreams come to life.

 

These celebrities proved that there is more life outside show business. Seeing them inventing new luscious dishes in a bistro kitchen, creating a new fashion line and building real estate properties.

 

Cesar Montano: owns Bellissimo Ristorante, “Bellissimo” literally means very beautiful. It opened last July 7, 2007 (7-7-7). He was inspired by his trips to Italy where his sister lives. Bellissino offers bona fide Italian pastas, wines, salads and their restaurant’s pride, thin-crust pizza which is cooked in a “pugon”

   Bellissimo also sells packaged sauces, pasta and deli meat from Italy.  

Ai-Ai  de las Alas:  The comedy queen who ventured into food business named Ai Sarap. It opened last September 17, 2007 in Sampaloc, Manila. They offer affordable lutong-bahay meals and serves merienda too.

Ping Medina: Son of actor Pen Medina, opened PenPen “comfort food araw-araw” which is located at 105 Unit C Scout Castor Street, Quezon City.  They offer affordable and appetizing meals like Beef Caldereta, Crispiest Liempo and Fried Chickn Kiev. They also sell dolls to help a charitable institution. Keep up the good work!

 

Karylle & Dingdong Dantes: The couple opened their joint ventures, Circle cafe and Centerstage KTV and Resto Bar. Since Karylle is a singer, a KTV business is perfect for her. Circle Cafe offers breakfast, lunch and dinner and it is big enough to accomodate guests. It is a perfect place to hangout with your family and friends.

 

Marvin Agustin: He is the owner of Ricecapades, Mister Donut and shares ownership of SumoSam, Smairu, Cafe Tentitas and JohnandYoko. The famous SumoSam has branches in Rockwell and Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong.

 

Pauleen Luna: Shares ownership with a new fashion boutique named Reborn. Reborn has a branch on the GF of Sm City North. You can also visit their main store in Robinsons Place Manila. 

 

Sylvia Sanchez: ventured into internet cafe business named Travelers Joint in Greenhills, San Juan. The cafe has 10 computer units with fast speed connection.  Aside from typing and internet services, they also offer printing and faxing services.

 

Michael de Mesa: One of the owners of the famous K9 Couture in Tiendesitas. They offer trendy outfits for your cute and adorable dogs, chic tote bags, carriers and beds. It is also a pet salon that offers services like grooming, styling, massage and dog-sitting.
