Kenneth Cobunpue, a cebuano has won several awards for his extensive designs. The biggest award he has won so far is the The Design for Asia Award which is the most prominent design award given in Asia for his Lolah Chair.He uses a wide range of natural materials such as seagrasses, palms, bamboo, rattan and abaca.
Did you know that his pieces are used in the movie Ocean’s 13? It only proves that he already conquered the Hollywood industry. Brad Pitt has five of his designs which he bought over three years.
