Billboards fall along Edsa

No CommentThree billboards on the south and northbound lanes of EDSA fell when a small whirlwind flounced through the main road during a rainstorm Monday afternoon. It wounded five people and grumbling traffic. The wounded were rushed to East Avenue Medical Center. Every one endured from fissures and minor scratches. MMDA asked DPWH to review the billboards because some of them seem not to follow the guidelines. I agree, because I’ve seen the billboards myself and they appear to be very big. Most of them are not placed in proper areas. So I guess the authorities should take necessary action to avoid further damage.
